If you have pins connected to the Display's H1 header, bootloader mode will drive those lines low.
We recommend that you disconnect any non-critical (for example, RESET) pins before entering bootloader mode.

To put the display into bootloader mode and upload firmware:
  1) Connect the display to the PC via USB or RS232. If using RS232, ensure proper power is being supplied to the module.

  2) Open the utility (fw_send.exe)

  3) In the "Firmware Image" section, click the "Select..." button and choose "cfa835_2v0_beta_20261003.blf"

  4) In the "Communications" section, select the port for the connected CFA835.

  5) On the Module Operations section, select "Reset Module into Bootloader Mode".
After a moment, the module will reset into bootloader mode

  6) In the "Communications" section, select the port for the CFA10052-USB Bootloader.

  7) On the Module Operations section, ensure "Forced Update" is checked

  8) Click the "Update Firmware" button.

  9) When the module is done it will show the splash screen, you are now using the new version of the CFA835.
